This summer, BrownFlynn is partnering with the Institute for Sustainable Development—a nonprofit partnering with academic institutions University of North Carolina, Duke University and Elon University along with chambers of commerce across the country—to conduct a survey on the importance of stakeholder engagement in developing an organization’s sustainability strategy. The survey will gain insight into how companies from a variety of industries value and practice stakeholder engagement, and how this process affects the success of their sustainability strategies. The results of the survey will be compiled into a report regarding the value of basing organizational goals and plans on what’s most important to those affected by the organization.

BrownFlynn has been involved in Sustainable Cleveland 2019, surveying how the city's big sustainability initiative is being received by the business community.
