At the 2009 Cleveland Sustainability Summit, facilitator Dr. David Cooperrider asked attendees to create topic areas to build a sustainability agenda for the city. He suggested the 20 topics, and subsequently, attendees selected the group of their interest.
In 2010, the Work Groups were organized by Celebration Year (a yearlong community focus and celebration of their area).
Summaries of each group, their mission, current members, and milestones can be found under the 2019 Celebration Years.
