G5 (SC2019) Meeting NOTES
Date: March 9, 2010, Time: 5:30 – 7:20PM, Location: ABC Tavern
Next meeting: Tuesday, March 23, 5:30 PM, ABC Tavern
Attendees: Michael Rastatter, Gregg Labar, Elise Leitzel

Timeline up to April 18, 2010:
- Today is Tues, March 9 - Approximately 5 weeks until the event
- Mon, March 22 - Submit final check and any graphics to Nick Swetye to order printed materials
- Tues, March 23 - next scheduled G5 meeting, 5:30PM, ABC Tavern
- Tues, April 6 - G5 meeting, with SC2019 Ambassadors, 5:30PM (ABC Tavern or TBD)
- Sun, April 18 - EarthFest 2010

Discussions/Decisions/Outcomes:
- Continue to keep focus on simplicity
- Booth space identified with banner (if we can acquire from city) or table easels
- Photographer not necessary
- Ambassadors to wear whatever they choose
- Ambassador recruitment script discussed
- Print pieces, maximum 5,000 (per Nick): 1-business card size of website information; 2-

Cleveland Commitment group working on decisions about their piece
- Receptive responses from sponsorship contact calls forwarded to Nick
- Eric McGarvey pledged $25 toward event supplies (via email to Michael)
- Videographer: - David Jurca confirmed Graham Veysey (via email to Michael) is interested in handling this aspect of event. Michael e-mailed David to request that he confirm his services. Basic objectives for this element can be determined at next meeting, at which he should be invited too.

Action Items:
- Gregg to do business card layout. He will ask David to design.
- Jim O'Hare of the Cleveland Commitment group is preparing/editing the Commitment for printing
- Jeffery Bowen - follow-up (?) with Andrew Watterson re: his willingness to see if printer would donate this service to GCBL...
- Elise recruiting event ambassadors, primarily work group representatives (Email notice, followed up with personal phone calls & event schedule matrix)
- Michael to draft save the date notice to be posted on SC 2019 weekly update & GCBL/2019 website
- Michael to draft initial G5 page content to assist with GCBL/2019 website development; venue for G5 updates and information
- Michael to contact Mark Lefkowitz re: availability of SC 2019 logo stickers; if not, willingness to co-fund printing of them
- Michael will follow-up with Sharmell Brown re: table dressings, i.e. banners, etc.
- Michael to discuss with GCBL the coordination its efforts with SC 2019 re: booth dressing, materials & activities, etc.

Checklist and Additional Items TBD:
- Easel display of website with all 20 work groups listed (does GCBL plan to display this live, on the web - big screen?)
- Finalize design & printing of materials (if Andrew’s efforts are fruitless). What are our other options?
- Collect needed event materials (markers, etc.)
- Remaining needs as far as event schedule is concerned (volunteers)
