Bioneers is a network of visionary innovators working to build a sustainable, positive and creative future for the web of life.
Great Lakes Bioneers–Cleveland will be convening its third conference November 5, 6 and 7, 2009. There are some exciting changes to the format along with the same inspiring opportunities to hear both national and local speakers address innovative solutions to improving planet, people and prosperity. This year's conference will focus on local food systems and the interconnectedness of all aspects of environmental, social, health, spiritual, artistic and economic issues.
Thursday, November 5th will be held at the Cleveland Convention Center in combination with Cleveland's STEM MC2 high school. The program will be interesting for all ages with student and adult workshops, presentations of Bioneers' national speakers and intergenerational activities. Registration on Thursday will be free for everyone.
Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th, the conference will return to Cleveland State University's Levin College of Urban Affairs with a full program of speakers, workshops, networking, music and arts activities.

The second Great Lakes Bioneers–Cleveland was held on October 17-19, 2008 at Cleveland State University Levin College of Urban Affairs.
The program featured a virtual feed of outstanding international plenary speakers each afternoon and an exciting line-up of more than twenty workshops and ten tours showcasing programs in Northeast Ohio each morning. The emphasis was on the Great Lakes and water and the challenges and opportunities we have in this region. A fun party and eco-fashion show on Friday evening and on Saturday evening a new version of the
very popular Home Grown Music Folk Concert were some of the local highlights
