RTA seeks public artists

Marc Lefkowitz  |  06/05/06 @ 10:09am

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority is looking for artists to design and install art pieces for two of its rapid transit station renovation projects. RTA needs artists for both the Puritas and for the E. 55 Rapid Transit Station Reconstruction projects.

Both stations are currently being designed. RTA sets aside 1 percent of the construction cost for public art — Puritas Station is $50,000 and E. 55 station is $80,000. A registration application is available here.
