Baldwin-Wallace College-already a leader with its interdisciplinary (business and environment) Sustainability major-will extend its sustainability reach with a $230,000 grant from the McGregor Fund. The funds will help place more students in internships with area groups and businesses focused on sustainability, to develop more coursework, and to create an Institute for Sustainable Business Practice.
"Through the generous support of the MGregor Fund, we believe Baldwin-Wallace College can present a model program other schools can draw upon as more institutions begin to look at sustainability as being a requisite component of a liberal arts education," said B-W President Dick Durst.
