Welcome to the Year of Energy Efficiency

Mayor Frank G. Jackson and the Office of Sustainability are kicking off The Year of Energy Efficiency with the Cleveland Conserves Energy Efficiency Fair. It's free and open to the public.

Date: Thursday, January 20, 2011Time: 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.Location: City Hall, Rotunda, 601 Lakeside Avenue

The fair will feature demonstrations and information about how to use less energy while benefiting people, planet and profit. The Cleveland Conserves Energy Efficiency Fair will showcase and celebrate just how much has already been accomplished and how our community can be even more carbon responsible. What to expect:

  • Tasty fresh, local food-FREE while supplies last
  • Resources and products focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency as well as energy conservation
  • Information on local businesses and organizations with exhibits and materials on the latest technology and upcoming workshops

Participating exhibitors include: COSE, US Environmental Protection Agency, TCP Inc., Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Earth Day Coalition, Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, America Green Energy, Liquid Planet, Dovetail Solar, Cleveland Public Power, Environmental Health Watch, Cleveland Division of Water, Cuyahoga County Department of Development, Honey Hut Ice Cream, City of Cleveland Division of Waste, Green Street Solutions, Neighborhood Progress Inc., Erie Energy, Asturn Solare, Greenfield Solar, Hard Hatted Women, Recharge Power LLC, REpower Solutions
