Announcing the 4th Annual Cleveland Sustainability Summit

Jenita  |  02/23/12 @ 2:16pm

I am pleased to announce the 4th annual sustainability summit at Cleveland Public Auditorium on September 20-21st, 2012. Sustainable Cleveland 2019 is a ten-year initiative that creates a framework for Clevelanders from all walks of life to work together to build a thriving and resilient Cleveland region. Mayor Frank G. Jackson hosts an annual sustainability summit to report progress to the community, create an agenda for the future and co-create our sustainable future. Each year leading up to 2019, Cleveland will have a sustainability Celebration Year. 2012 is the Year of Local Foods and 2013 will be the Year of Advanced and Renewable Energy. Summit Topics: The Summit will have a two-part focus. On Thursday, Sept 20th, the focus will be on reporting progress in many aspects of sustainability as well as accelerating momentum and taking action to grow the local food economy. On Friday, Sept 21st the focus will be on creating momentum and priorities for the Year of Advanced and Renewable Energy in 2013. The Summit is a unique opportunity to work across sectors, foster collaboration, learn about recent innovations and to design the future of the Cleveland region. Summit registration will be available soon and up-to-date information can be found on the City of Cleveland website. Sponsorship Opportunity: Send a powerful message that you support sustainable economic development. Enhance your presence and increase your impact with a tax deductible sponsorship. Sponsors build relationships with the sustainability sector when they support the Sustainable Cleveland 2019 Annual Summit. Sponsorship provides a variety of opportunities to develop closer relationships with SC2019 and its participants while enhancing the summit experience for 600-700 attendees. Download the sponsorship form here.
