- The third annual Emerging Cleveland tours will highlight the best of what's happening in the city on Dec. 26 & 27. Timed for the arrival of an “ex-pat” or native who’s sure they know all they need to know about Cleveland, Justin Glanville and friends get you inside new developments to off-the-beaten track gems in what's become a winter holiday favorite.
- “Why have 4,000 of the world’s leading corporations—from Coca Cola to HP—joined the United Nations Global Compact?” asks Case's Fairmount Minerals Professor in Social Entrepreneurship David Cooperrider. “And more importantly, what benefits and strengths are there for Northeast Ohio Companies? And how can the UN Global Compact place our region on the map and strengthen our economy?” Cooperrider, also founder & chair, Case’s Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit, will host an introductory meeting of the Northeast Ohio (NEO) network of the United Nations Global Compact on November 29, 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Weatherhead School of Management’s George S. - German solar vendor to build headquarters in Cleveland, but “whether the company begins manufacturing will depend on whether the state requires that a portion of the power sold here be generated with renewable energy technology such as solar panels and wind turbines.” Read more here.
