The ribbon cutting ceremony for the first Green Cottage will take place Friday, April 24 at 4pm, at 5810 Pear Avenue. Work on the house is essentially complete with the exception of the landscaping, which will be completed once weather permits. David Slawson, a local landscape architect, is working with the new owner to design a long term plan for the site without any conventional lawn area.
