This section will cover neighborhood development and urban design — how we are rebuilding the cities and towns of Northeast Ohio. Your neighborhood or redevelopment project could have a page.
We invite you to help us examine and add questions and ideas to the following:
- What are the forces that create or hinder development in cities and older suburbs?
- What are the best building typologies for our urban areas?
- Should we focus resources on large-scale 'big bang' type of buildings (like new convention centers) or on fine-grain projects that enhance the historic urban fabric?
- Which will bring more residents, vibrancy, the potential for retail, etc. back to cities?
