Hear from Christopher Norman, Crown Point's new Director, and Casey Hoy, Professor in the Department of Entomology at the Ohio Agricultural Research and Development Center (OARDC), as they explore the role of food in the US economy and environment. Get answers to questions such as:

  • Where do US supplies of food come from?
  • What is the carbon footprint of your dinner plate?
  • What can you do to reduce your dinner plate's carbon footprint?
  • How does decreasing your dinner plate's carbon footprint lead to food safety and energy independence?
Share with the group dishes that promote a healthy and sustainable local food economy. Prizes will be awarded to the most creative local food dish! Learn more on upcoming clean energy events and network with professionals and others dedicated to creating a sustainable energy economy in Ohio.
