E. O. Wilson, father of environmental movement, at Severance Hall

Legendary biologist E. O. Wilson from Harvard University is considered the father of the modern environmental movement. Case Western Reserve University has invited him to give the 2009 Distinguished Lecture, "From So Simple a Beginning: Darwin and the Future of Biology." The free and public talk is one of the notable events for the university's Year of Darwin and Evolution that examines the many facets of evolution and its impact on life on our planet.
