Growing green livelihoods: The impacts of "free" trade and the promise of a new green economy

Please Join the Sierra Club's Responsible Trade program on Tuesday, March 31st at 6:30pm for a dynamic presentation: Growing Green Livelihoods: The Impacts of "Free" Trade and the Promise of a New Green Economy Featuring 2008 Goldman Prize Winner, Jesús León Santos, IUE-CWA President Jim Clark, and Sierra Club Responsible Trade Program Director Margrete Strand Rangnes The presentation will examine the potential for green jobs development in the U.S. and abroad to move us towards a more sustainable global economy and combat the harmful effects of "free" trade on workers and the environment. The event will take place in the Reinberger Auditorium at the Great Lakes Science Center located at 601 Erieside Avenue, Cleveland, OH ? at the foot of East 9th and the Shoreway ? and will be followed by a reception highlighting the work of local organizations.
