Pop up City/Walk + Roll downtown Cleveland party planning

A number of organizations are putting together a grassroots event for Sunday, April 5 that would:

  • Show the Rock Hall inductees that downtown is vibrant on Sundays
  • Introduce the new space for the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative
  • Kick off Walk+Roll 2009
  • Highlight healthy transportation like walking, bicycling, buses, trolleys, trains, car sharing, alternative fuels, etc
  • Explore Tower City, downtown, Playhouse Square, etc. by trying RTA
  • Showcase residential opportunities and that people live downtown
This is a collaborative event that is coming together quickly. Any and all organizations are welcome and encouraged to participate. Pop Up City and Walk+Roll are both creative, energetic, grassroots initiatives run on two shoestrings and some loose change but we work to make Cleveland healthier and more vibrant. We hope you will join us in this goal.
