The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour

The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings adventure, extreme sports, cultural and environmental films to town for an exclusive Cleveland showing at the Allen Theatre, Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18. 

Receptions with food, drink, prizes and exhibits of interest to outdoor enthusiasts precede the films each evening and begin at 6:00 pm. The films (different both nights), start at 7:30 pm. Friday's feature film, "Red Gold," is an environmental film about a proposed mine at the headwaters of two of the largest remaining sockeye salmon runs on the planet. The movie is the winner of the "People's Choice" award. Saturday's feature film, "Journey to the Center," depicts an extreme sport, and also beautiful imagery and human connections in China. It is the "Best Mountain Sport" winner.
