On Monday, December 14, NorTech's Advanced Energy Speaker Series will present a discussion on "Biomass to Energy: An Emerging Industry" at the Great Lakes Science Center auditorium from 5:30 p.m.  - 7:30 p.m.   Biomass to energy applications are gaining momentum in the marketplace as a long term solution to reducing consumption of traditional energy sources. A panel of experts will provide an overview of the emerging US biomass industry as a source of clean, renewable energy and products.  NASA Glenn Research Center and Quasar Energy Group (formerly Schmack BioEnergy) will share examples of how they are researching, developing and implementing biomass to energy solutions here in Northeast Ohio.
