About the Green Communities Path of the Cleveland Green Standard:

The City of Cleveland requires all substantial rehabilitation and new construction housing receiving incentives from the City, including tax abatement, to meet the Cleveland Green Standard. The Cleveland Green Standard refers to three options: meet NAHB Gold, LEED Silver, or Enterprise Green Communities Standards. All projects need third party verification that they have met one of these options. This training will qualify you to be a third-party verifier for the Green Communities option. Upon completion of the training you will be placed on a list of City-approved third-party verifiers. This list will be provided to developers who may contract with you for this service.

Training will be provided by the Environmental Health Watch's Affordable Green Housing Center. The Affordable Green Housing Center is an Enterprise Green Communities Technical Assistance Provider.
