Sustainable Facilities Operations

Northeast Ohio Chapter of the USGBC and Northern Ohio Chapter of IFMA (International Facilities Managers Association) are partnering to bring you a program which addresses the concepts of sustainable building and operations. Our shared audiences recognize the critical importance of existing buildings being able to achieve optimal operating efficiencies while maintaining a healthy living environment. The example set by an area leader in sustainability, Case Western Reserve University, will be presented by Gene Matthews, Director of the Department of Facilities Services. The 155 acre campus of CWRU is comprised of dozens of buildings which range in function from residential, academic classrooms, administrative offices, medical labs, food service, recreational, etc. The campus has been actively addressing both operational and built environment sustainability issues for the past 5 plus years and has significant data to share (dollars spent, returns on investment, performance outcomes) about its challenges and success stories. $20 for IFMA / NEO USGBC Members $35 for Non-Members. Light refreshments served. Pre-paid registrations only can be processed at www.ifmanorthernohio.org or by mail/fax using the form found on www.neogreenbuilding.org  homepage. Want to attend for FREE? Bring a facility manager as your guest and you both get in for FREE! You just need to mark your registration with the facility manager's name and indicate "FREE".Northeast Ohio Chapter of the USGBC and Northern Ohio Chapter of IFMA (International Facilities Managers Association) are partnering to bring you a program which addresses the concepts of sustainable building and operations.
