Exploration Station Grand Opening
The Exploration Station - The Nature Center at Cleveland Lakefront State Park will host a grand opening open house on Friday, June 18 from 7pm - 9pm. The Exploration Station is a new hands-on activity center themed around Lake Erie. Additional topics include wildlife, local history, Dike 14, and more. The facility is located at 8701 Lakeshore Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44108. Also at the grand opening local artist Christine Siarka will be kicking off the seasonal art exhibit with her photos - Precious Lake Erie: Beauty at our doorstep. Capt N' Willie - the Great Lakes Pirate - a local edu-tainer will also be here. Refreshments will be provided by Interstate Safety & Service. The Exploration Station will be open posted hours for the public year round and is available for private visits from educational groups including school field trips with additional lake related programming available upon request.
