Winter Solstice at Crown Point

Crown Point Ecology Center will host ?Moon Over Crown Point? celebrating Winter Solstice on Sunday evening, December 19, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. The first 25 adults and children (6 years and older) who call for reservations will gather in the Crown Point Orchard House for a potluck dinner followed by reflections on the changing season. Stories will be shared about the origins of seasonal celebrations and the Christmas themes. A guided moon-light walk in the woods will follow, and the evening will conclude with deserts and coffee served in the warm glow of the Orchard House fire.
