E4S 3rd Tuesday: 2011-The Year of Energy Efficiency

Mayor Frank G. Jackson and the Office of Sustainability are kicking off The Year of Energy Efficiency in 2011. This is the first year of the 10 year initiative known as Sustainable Cleveland 2019 (SC2019) that engages people from all walks of life, working together to design and develop a thriving and resilient Cleveland region that leverages its wealth of assets to build economic, social and environmental well being for all.

E4S will join others working to support this initiative by kicking off our new year with a showcase of opportunities to put energy efficiency to work for your organization and the region. You will hear about local innovations, opportunities for the future of energy efficiency and suggestions on what your business can do to become more energy efficient in 2011.

Showcase presenters will include:

  • David Beach - Director, Green City Blue Lake Institute
  • Mark McDermott - Northeast Ohio Energy Efficiency Alliance
  • Anand Natarajan - Energy Manager, Mayor?s Office of Sustainability
  • Tim Palmer - Home Performance Specialist, GreenStreet Solutions
  • John Seryak - President, Go Sustainable Energy
