Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS) public meeting

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a series of public scoping meetings to discuss the Great Lakes and Mississippi River Interbasin Study (GLMRIS); the meeting is divided into two separate three hour sessions.

The purpose of GLMRIS is to evaluate a range of options and technologies to prevent the transfer of aquatic nuisance species between the Great Lakes and Mississippi River through aquatic pathways. The public scoping meetings are a great opportunity to learn more about the study and provide comment.
