SC 2019 Sustainable Design, Materials & Manufacturing charrette

Goals and Objectives A. Development of a theoretical flow process identifying the stages and steps manufacturing organizations follow in transforming to sustainable operations, production, culture, product design, development, marketing, finance and manufacturing. With the result of the SC2019 SDM² effort being the creation of a tool to make available for organizations to elevate their potential and produce an actionable program in the areas of 1. Operations 2. Product development and manufacturing B. Design of a deliverable document describing these stages and steps 1. Matrix diagram defined by categories of activities describing the stages, steps and then the tasks and actions to be taken at each levels of progress to achieve the end result of a fully sustainable manufacturing organization. 2. ?Bubble diagram? identifying program areas for action, influencing subordinate activators, interconnection with other program areas and decision motivators.
