LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the premier third-party certification verifying sustainability characteristics of the built environment. Covering topics such as energy and water efficiency, procurement and indoor air quality, the LEED rating system provides a framework to build new buildings in a sustainable way - and to transform existing buildings. LEED provides a basis to discuss where to begin implementing sustainability and realizing positive return on investment in both commercial and residential properties.
