Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour

On the Edge Films presents the 14th annual Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour Cleveland Stop!

Journey to exotic locations, paddle the wildest waters and climb the hights peaks...The World Tour is a collection of the most exciting adventure films from the Banff Mountain Film Festival in Alberta, Canada!

On April 15th and 16th, at the Masonic Temple, 3615 Euclid Ave in Cleveland you can ignite your passion for adventure, environmentalism, action and travel! And back again this year is the Go Green sign in poster for those who conserve energy by biking, walking, using public transit or carpooling. Pedal down the Euclid bike lane or hop the Healthline and sign in for a chance to win Leki Trekking Poles, sponsored by Geiger's each night!

An Opening Reception kicks off the festivities on Friday night, starting at 6 p.m. with beer from Fat Head's Brewery & Saloon, light appetizers from Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar and Fat Head's, and, to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth, dessert by the Cleveland Cupcake Company!

Appetizers from Light Bistro and Bar Louie will be served for Saturday's reception with dessert by Main Street Cupcakes and Beyond Brownies.

The films, different each night, begin at 7:30 p.m., after the receptions. Visit our website at http://www.theedgefilms.com for this year's film selections and more info.

The receptions, which run from 6:00-7:30 p.m. include complimentary Caribou Coffee and Red Bull, exhibits of interest to outdoor enthusiasts, samples and prize signups. Proceeds from the beer and wine cash bar will benefit Earth Day Coalition. Raffles tickets benefiting the Towpath Trail will be available for sale and festival-goers can sign up at our Ticket Sponsor tables to be entered in prize drawings that include fantastic prizes from Banff and our local sponsors and exhibitors. And remember, if you carpool, use mass transit or bike to the festival, we'll once again have the "Go Green" poster to sign for a chance to win a set of Leki poles!

Advance sale tickets for the BMFF World Tour are on sale now at Geiger's in Lakewood and Chagrin Falls and at Century Cycles in Rocky River, Peninsula and Medina and on-line at http://www.theedgefilms.com For updates, "like" us on Facebook!
