NEO Green Building LEED Neighborhood Development Site Tour

Northeast Ohio Chapter of the USGBC is pleased to bring you this LEED Neighborhood Development site tour. Saint Luke's Pointe located in Cleveland's Buckeye neighborhood is one of four regional building projects pursuing LEED for Neighborhood Development certification which integrates the principles of smart growth, urbanism, and sustainable building. The scope of this 28-acre sustainable project involves a new public library, new grade school, new rapid transit station, new homes, redevelopment of a former hospital into housing units, some retail, community spaces and green spaces. The project team presenting this tour includes several of the stakeholders involved: Buckeye Area Development Corporation, Neighborhood Progress Incorporated, Regional Transit Authority and City Architecture. They will speak to the completed portions of the project and the future elements that are in process.
