Climate change impacts on Great Lakes fish

Stone Laboratory, Ohio State University's island campus on Lake Erie, will continue its summer guest lecture series on July 7 at 7:45. Ohio State University Assistant Professor Dr. Stuart Ludsin will discuss ?Climate Change Impacts on Fishes of the Great Lakes.?

The public can either attend the presentation at Stone Lab or view the presentation via a live web seminar. Those interested in learning more about this simple and fast option and receiving the log-in information should contact Matthew Forte at forte.40@osu.edu or by phone at 614.247.7439. Each Thursday lecture begins at 7:45 p.m. and lasts until approximately 9 p.m. A brief presentation on current research precedes each lecture at 7 p.m.

Tune in next week, on Thursday, July 14, to hear from Ohio Department of Natural Resources Director David Mustine in his presentation, ?Productive Partnerships: Watersheds and Lakes.? Stone Lab Instructor Dr. Christopher Winslow, Assistant Professor of Biology at Kutztown University, will discuss his research, ?Hypoxia in the Western Basin of Lake Erie: Low Oxygen in a Shallow System.?
