HELP PLANT A RAIN GARDEN AND CLEAN THE BEACH ATEUCLID BEACH STATE PARK! 10:00am - 1:00pmJoin Euclid Beach Adopt-a-Beach volunteers on Saturday September 17th from 10am-1pm as we install an enhanced swale rain garden and clean the beach at Euclid Beach Park!?Stormwater creates land erosion that leads to flooding and the transport of pollutants to local streams, rivers, and Lake Erie.? (Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer Distirct). Together we can reduce storm water and help keep Lake Erie clean!We will be planting native water tolerant plants and spreading compost and mulch!Volunteers are encouraged to bring gardening gloves, large and small garden shovels, rakes and wheelbarrows.Volunteers participating in the beach cleanup will be provided gloves, rakes and trash bags and are encouraged to wear closed toed shoesRefreshments will be provided but please be sure to bring plenty of water!Please RSVP by FridaySeptember 17th to:Stephen.love20@gmail.com or call216-571-0685**This project is funded by the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District?s Small Scale StorwateDemonstration Grant Program.
