Stone Soup Initiative Food Dehydrating Class

The Stone Soup Initiative is dedicated to teaching Clevelanders how to prepare and preserve local food. In these cold, slow harvest months, terrific instructors are teaching members of our community a variety of food preservation techniques that can be used year-round.The theme for our fifth class is dehydrating. The class will be taught by Mark DiDonato, high school science teacher, chicken keeper and vegetable gardener extraordinaire. Mark will bring his own dehydrator and teach methods of preparing food for dehydration as well as storing dehydrated food. Please send any questions to stonesoupcleveland@gmail.com.Classes are free (donations are welcome and appreciated). Free, secure parking is available, and the venue is also on a bus line. Please feel free to share this invitation with others! The Stone Soup Initiative is dedicated to teaching Clevelanders how to prepare and preserve local food.
