Vegetarian Cooking Class (featuring local foods)

As part of Hathaway Brown School's Focus on Food month in April, we have partnered with Chef Brandt Evans of Pura Vida restaurant on Public Square and Twinsburg's Blue Canyon Kitchen and Tavern to offer a hands-on vegetarian cooking class, featuring local foods as available. The class starts at 9:30 a.m. and ends with a lunch tasting of the fabulous dishes the class has prepared.The class will be held in the state-of-the-art teaching kitchens at the Tri-C Hospitality Management Center on Public Square. Chef Evans has won numerous awards for his cooking since opening Blue Canyon in 2002 and was featured on The Food Network?s Fabulous Food Show in 2008, representing Cleveland?s finest chefs. Come on your own, as a family, as a parent-child pair, or with a friend...whatever works for you.Students must be in 5th grade or above. Students age 16 and older may attend without a parent.Space is limited for this class.
