Forum on Healthier, Cleaner, Greener Schools and Facilities presented by the Cleveland Botanical Garden and Beyond Pesticides Ohio.

Keynote Speaker: Patrick Pizzo, MBA, Director of School Facilities & Operations, East Meadow Schools, Long Island, New York. Patrick will discuss and teach how he saves over $250,000 a year by using green products and natural turf care on his schools? buildings, grounds and playing fields.

Featured Speakers:Sunny M. Simon and Julian Rogers, Members, Cuyahoga County Council. They will discuss the new county ordinance banning pesticides on all county owned properties and why other communities should follow suit. Alec McClennan, President, Good Nature Organic Lawn Care, on creating safe and affordable organic lawns and playing fields. Dr. Aparna Bole, Pediatrician and Sustainability Manager, University Hospitals on the health benefits of reducing pesticide and chemical exposure
