Menu for the Future Discussion Group

Ever wonder what our menu for the future will look like? Come be part of the discussion! Lakewood Library will host a six-session discussion course about where our food comes from, how it is produced, and what a menu for a sustainable future might look like. Each session will address a different topic, informed by selected readings and guided questions in the Menu for the Future reader developed by the Northwest Earth Institute. To learn more about the course and the reader, visit http://www.nwei.org/discussion_courses/course-offerings/menu-for-the-future The course will meet at The Lakewood Public Library main branch on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 PM from May 22 - June 26, 2012. Contact Peg Downing (m.downing@cox.net) if you are interested in joining in the discussion. The book costs $20 or you can borrow a book from Lakewood Library or from Peg.
