Husher's Insights to Growing Heirloom Veggies

Justin Husher of Old Husher?s Farm in Cleveland?s West Park neighborhood has been cultivating heirloom varieties of tomatoes, melons, and squash for the past 3 seasons. In this workshop he will focus on the benefits and concerns of specializing in heirloom cultivars, selecting varieties, and discuss seed saving.All workshops are free and open to the public.This workshop is part of the Local Growers' Workshop Series (LGWS) being presented by Ohio State University Extension. These workshops are all planned and taught by local urban farmers looking to share their knowledge and experience.
