Edgewater Beach clean up

Join local clean water campaigners Drink Local. Drink Tap the first Saturday of every month from 10a-12p at the Edgewater State Park beach area to pick up trash and monitor our local water quality.

See the Drink Local Drink Tap calendar here and note that there are cleanups already happening on the East and West sides of Cleveland in addition to many beaches that need new teams on board.

An intro to urban agriculture workshop

An overview of the basics in urban agriculture including, permaculture, vermiculture, composting and aquaponics led by the farmers at the Kinsman Farm /Rid All Green Partnership (advised by Will Allen). Includes lunch at the new Bridgeport Cafe (serving food from the Kinsman Farm).

We will discover the impact these telescopes have made on science today, as they gradually revealed the wonders of the visual universe and gave us a better understanding of our place in it. Fee: $3/person at the door Planetarium program is followed by outdoor telescope viewing, weather permitting.
