Lake Erie Waterkeeper meeting
Inaugural meeting of the Central Basin/Cleveland Lake Erie Waterkeeper program.
Concerned citizens, business and civic leaders, and water sport enthusiasts are encouraged to attend the public meeting and to join the efforts of the group. The initiative is an extension of Lake Erie Waterkeeper Inc., a membership-based nonprofit organization founded to preserve, protect and improve Lake Erie and its tributaries.
The meeting will feature a presentation by Sandy Bihn, director of Lake Erie Waterkeeper Inc. illustrating why Lake Erie is often referred to as the "canary in the coalmine" of the Great Lakes.
