Free Speech Forum: Shale Development

This will be a civil question and answer session with four panelists - two representing the Shale Gas industry and two representing opposition groups. The speakers who have agreed to join the panel include:

  • Bill Kinney – President of Summit Petroleum
  • Gene Chini – ODNR Orphan Well program director
  • Al Rosenfield – LWV Ohio Energy Specialist
  • Kari Matsko – Director of People's Oil & Gas Collaborative of Ohio (POGCO)

The format will be a series of preset questions to the panel. All of the panelists will have the opportunity to review these questions prior to the forum. Each panelist will have equal time to answer each question. We plan to use a moderator and a time keeper. Then we will open up the forum to audience questions with a firm time limit set for both the question and the answer. This event is free and open to the public.
