Cleveland's waste-to-energy plant public meeting

Without much forewarning, the Ohio EPA approved an air quality permit for a new power plant on Cleveland's east side. A local company, Vadxx Energy, wants to build a plant that relies on a proprietary technology that will convert plastic and rubber waste in to natural gas and petroleum. The technology was piloted in Akron with minimal air pollution, but this will be a 50:1 scale up in size and impact. Share your questions and comments.
