EarthFest 2013

The annual EarthFest, the state's largest environmental education event, organized by the Earth Day Coalition. This year the EarthFest is at a new location -- the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds.

This year's theme is "Celebrating Advanced and Renewable Energy." The fairgrounds will showcase this theme with a recently installed 500-kW wind turbine, solar array, and brand new Energy Center Museum.

Biodiesel-powered amusement park rides (a first in Ohio). A Zero Waste effort with ZeroWaste NEO as a partner along with Kimble Recycling & Disposal and Rosby Resource Recycling: Recycling and compost will be handled by volunteers on bikes with trailers. Dignitaries and speakers will be shuttled on pedicabs.
