National Day of Action's State Roadway Cleanup in Cleveland

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), Keep Ohio Beautiful (KOB), and the Ohio Turnpike Commission are recruiting volunteers for the annual State Roadway Cleanup. This will be the first time KOB will hold its State Roadway Cleanup in Cleveland. Hundreds of volunteers comprised of neighborhood groups, businesses and organizations will take to area roadways to pick up thousands of pounds of litter, recyclables and debris between 8:30 a.m. and noon. The State Roadway Cleanup kickoff will be held on the east side of the Muni Lot off of East 9thStreet. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. followed at 9 a.m. by a brief welcome and safety presentation; our volunteers will then clean-up the roadways from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
