Nature play and childhood development

Facing the new reality of a childhood with little time spent playing in nature, people and programs across the country are working to re-create these outdoor play experiences. Ken Finch, founder and president of Green Hearts Institute for Nature in Childhood, Omaha, Nebraska, will help us to understand the value and impacts of nature play and how we can restore it to our children’s lives — whether in backyards, neighborhood parks, child care centers or schoolyards.

Free but registration required.

Event sponsored by Holden Arboretum.
