Burning River Fest 2013
Every summer, people from all over the Great Lakes region converge at Burning River Fest to toast the “watershed moment” that raised a new level of ecoconsciousness: the 1969 burning of the Cuyahoga River.
With a projected attendance of 8,000, the 2013 event will feature interactive environmental displays, the 2nd Annual Corporate Boat Float Challenge, and an art installation recalling the fire on the Cuyahoga River. It’s sure to be a special weekend of great local music, beer, and food on the shore of Cleveland's natural treasure.
Organized by the Great Lakes Brewing Company and benefitting the Burning River Foundation, which provides grants to local environmental organizations.
