Opportunity Corridor public hearing
The Ohio Department of Transportation invites you to attend a public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for the Opportunity Corridor Project.
The proposed new $330 million road would be between I-490 and E. 105th Street and the environmental impacts include seizing 60 homes and 20 businesses and displacing their occupants. In addition, environmentalists are concerned about 'induced travel' which describes an increase in traffic volume that occurs soon after a new highway or road is opened or a previously congested highway is widened.
Come and share your concerns about air and water quality, or about prioritizing transit and walkability in the area. Here are six questions to think about.
