Friends of Big Creek St. Pat's Weekend Hike
Explore a hidden treasure -- Brooklyn's "Oxbow" -- and learn about unique wetland habitat in abandoned streambed plus plans to conserve, enhance and connect area with larger Big Creek greenway/trail system. We'll be joined by John Reinier, Cleveland Metroparks wetland ecologist.
Park and meet behind the Brooklyn Fire Station, 8400 Memphis Ave., at 10 a.m. Dress for the weather and muddy trail. Afterwards, warm up (indoors!) with Irish stew, hot beverages and desserts. Call 216-269-6472 for more info.
