Bike awareness ride: Healthy Cleveland
May is Bike Safety Month. On May 4th, celebrate by joining the first annual Bike Awareness Ride. Participate in a 4-mile or 10-mile ride on the open roads of Cleveland. This ride reminds bicyclists and motor vehicles that they need to co-exist safely on our busy streets!
Registration begins at 9am in the West Side Market parking lot.
Each ride will ride through 5 council wards ending at Market Garden Brewery where participants will receive a complimentary beverage post ride.
If you need bike repairs there will be an opportunity to get them repaired and to practice putting your bike on a bus rack!
This is a collaboration between Council Wards 3, 12, 13, 14, 15 and the 2nd District Cleveland Police, Bike Cleveland, Nano Brew and Lutheran Hospital Community Outreach.
Adult event: children permitted if accompanied by a parent. Bring a helmet and a lock.
