Parks and great cities talk at the City Club
"How Parks Make Cities Great," a presentation by Adrian Benepe, The Trust for Public Land.
Born and raised in New York City, Adrian Benepe oversaw a major expansion of the New York City park system as the city's Park Commissioner and has served in leadership positions regarding park and public space conservation, design, construction and operation, and in the areas of city planning, urban design, arts and culture, historic preservation, and landscape and urban design.
Benepe now directs The Trust for Public Land's City Park Development team and is a leading expert on the relationship between the public, private and non-profit sectors in public-space development and management.
Join the City Club in conversation about the need for and benefits of urban greenspaces, as well as important themes and trends in park development.
