Cleveland Climate Action Fund - Glenville Workshop

Have you ever wondered how people and the environment affect each other? Would you like to save money on your gas, electric and water bills? Do you have an idea that would improve your community and the environment?

If you are a Cleveland resident or stakeholder and answered YES to any of these questions, then join us for a Cleveland Climate Action Fund Workshop!

We believe that people power is the answer to true and lasting climate action in Cleveland. Any and every individual can take actions that are designed to improve Cleveland's resilience while reducing carbon emissions. At our workshops, we will be developing climate action project ideas that strengthen our economy, clean our environment and improve the health and wellness of Clevelanders. Project ideas will then have an opportunity to apply for micro grants through the Cleveland Climate Action Fund.

Workshop Outline Includes:
1. Learn the basics of climate science
2. Assess the vulnerability of cultural and natural resources in Cleveland
3.Learn about Cleveland's Climate Action Plan
4. Identify specific neighborhood assets and concerns as they related to climate
5. Develop a vision of climate action for each neighborhood through project ideas
6. Generate climate action project proposals to apply for micro grants
7. Review the application process and other area funding sources available

Help us increase the livability of our neighborhoods and enhance the quality of life for all in Cleveland.
