Annual Sustainability Symposium at Cleveland Botanical Garden.
This year’s theme is "The Benefit of Trees," and the keynote speaker is Treehouse Masters author Pete Nelson. The daylong symposium will delve into topics that relate specifically to appreciating, protecting and caring for tree populations. Some topics include calculating the benefits of trees, landscape designing with trees and restoring urban green spaces after Emerald Ash Borer. This program also aims to connect advocates with experts and to engage the community in meaningful conversations about protecting the natural world through sustainable practices.
