Storm Drain Stenciling
The Doan Brook Watershed Partnership is recruiting volunteers to "paint the town" on its first Storm Drain Stenciling Saturday of the year, to be held on Saturday, June 18th, from 9:30am to 12:30pm in Cleveland's Larchmere and Shaker Square neighborhoods. Participants will mark curbs next to residential storm drains by stenciling the message "Lake Erie Starts Here" on pavement. Information about the signage will also be distributed to neighborhood residents. Individuals, families, and organizations such as scouts, school or church groups, neighborhood associations and service clubs are welcome to sign up. Participants will meet at the Fairhill Partners Building, 12200 Fairhill Road, Cleveland, 44120, for a short stenciling demonstration and to pick up all needed supplies and street assignments. Refreshments also provided. In the event of all-day inclement weather, the stenciling will take place on Sunday, June 19, at the same time.
