Hough: A look back and forward

The City Club of Cleveland marks the 50th anniversary of the Hough riots (also known as the Hough uprising), a week-long period of unrest sparked by poverty and racism—followed by rapid population loss and decline that persisted for decades with a special discussion.

Hough is primed for a renaissance and is beginning to see the green shoots of economic development. But questions remain about how to chart a truly inclusive course for this important neighborhood.
